Unforgettable summer theatre fun!
The National Theatre of the Deaf ran the Theatre Immersion Program for over 5 years, and transitioned to Connecticut Deaf Theatre in 2021.
This camp brings youth together in Connecticut and introduces foundations of theatre through various workshops, activities, and outings. We aim to bring together youth and professional artists from across the country for an unforgettable summer experience!
Currently, Theatre Immersion Program is on hiatus. We aim to bring the program back in the following years, after essential groundwork has been established with our programming and brand awareness.

Connecticut Deaf Theatre provides theatrical experiences showcasing American Sign Language and Deaf Culture through performing arts and artistic efforts in the state of Connecticut and the region of New England.
Established in 2020, CDT is a 501C3 nonprofit tax-exempt professional theatre company that trains and employs Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and hearing artists with a model for collaboration bringing harmony between diverse peoples and languages.
